Kolasib, August 07: A celebration of 60 Diamond years, a celebration of the past achievement and hope for the even longer journey ahead, in tune with the theme of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration, “The Journey Continues…” The day’s event started on an auspicious note with the celebration of the Eucharist, with Bishop Rt. Rev. Stephen Rotluanga as the main celebrant. Diamond Jubilee Celebration
A celebration of 60 Diamond years, a celebration of the past achievement and hope for the even longer journey ahead, in tune with the theme of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration, “The Journey Continues…” The day’s event started on an auspicious note with the celebration of the Eucharist, with Bishop Rt. Rev. Stephen Rotluanga as the main celebrant. It was a joyous and heartfelt occasion wherein all the participants prayed and thanked God for His endless blessings showered upon the convent and the school.
 
‘Come and See’ program at Madonna Convent, Kolasib
After a meaningful Holy Eucharistic Celebration, the faithful moved towards the convent Portico where the bust of our Founder RFC Mascarenhas was unveiled to mark the jubilee. The celebration included some very entertaining cultural items performed by the candidates and the students of St. Maria Goretti School. Speeches and addresses by the Chief Guest Rt. Rev. Stephen Rotluanga and the Guest of Honor Sr. Lucious, the Provincial Superior of Silchar Province graced the occasion. The presence of the religious Sisters, Fathers, Brothers, parishioners, BLA members, candidates, hostellers, teachers and students added glamour to the celebration. As the old saying goes, “All good things must come to an end”. It was sweet when the day’s celebration came to an end with a sumptuous meal.
