BLA Mary Mount Unit Reaches Out

Inspired by the Spirit of Bethany Saints who reached out to our Lord, the BLA members of Mary Mount Convent, Aizawl visited Bethany Health Centre, Sihphir, accompanied by four sisters. The purpose of this visit was to show solidarity in their struggle of life and to show the love of Christ. The program was chaired by Mrs. R. Tanpuii. Sr. Shanthi the Superior gave the inmates of the Health Centre who are persons fighting addiction to drugs and alcohol, words of encouragement and hope. BLA Mary Mount Unit Reaches Out

AIZAWL, August 9: Inspired by the Spirit of Bethany Saints who reached out to our Lord, the BLA members of Mary Mount Convent, Aizawl visited Bethany Health Centre, Sihphir, accompanied by four sisters. The purpose of this visit was to show solidarity in their struggle of life and to show the love of Christ. The program was chaired by Mrs. R. Tanpuii. Sr. Kimte-i too motivated them to become good citizens and never to give up in life. The assurance of prayerful support by the Sisters and BLA members was expressed to them.

It was truly heart-touching to hear from Mr. David Hruaia an inmate of Bethany Health Centre when he expressed how the love of the Sisters has changed his life and that of other inmates. He expressed how he rediscovered his self-worth. Everyone present there felt enriched by the visit.
