Taking into consideration of the BETHANY FORMATION RATIO, a four-days Seminar cum Workshop on Discernment and Consciousness Examen for 20 young senior Sisters of Bethany Silchar Province was conducted from 12 to 15 October, 2022 at Holy Cross Convent, Dharmanagar. Sr Surekha BS the Provincial Councillor & Province Coordinator for Formation inaugurated the renewal seminar with lighting the lamp, shared by Sr Pushpa the Sister Superior of Holy Cross Convent, Dharmanagar, the community sisters and Sr Nirmal Toppo BS, the group representative. Dharmanagar, October 19,2022: Taking into consideration of the BETHANY FORMATION RATIO, a four-days Seminar cum Workshop on Discernment and Consciousness Examen for 20 young senior Sisters of Bethany Silchar Province was conducted from 12 to 15 October, 2022 at Holy Cross Convent, Dharmanagar. Sr Surekha BS the Provincial Councillor & Province Coordinator for Formation inaugurated the renewal seminar with lighting the lamp, shared by Sr Pushpa the Sister Superior of Holy Cross Convent, Dharmanagar, the community sisters and Sr Nirmal Toppo BS, the group representative.
 
Seminar on Discernment of Spirits
Thereafter Sr Surekha delivered the inaugural address and continued with the sessions on the topic – DISCERNMENT IN DAILY LIFE COUPLED WITH CONSCIOUSNESS EXAMEN. Reflections on the key questions like: Where do I come from? Where am I going? Who is God for me? Who am I? Where am I now? What is my passion?, have renewed the participants passion for life and mission. Fr Daniel Bara SJ, Rector St Joseph’s School, Kathmandu, Nepal took over the sessions for two days on the following sub topics: the meaning and purpose of Discernment of Spirits (DOS); Predispositions and Requirements for an Authentic DOS; Fruits of Spiritual Choice; Reconciliation with oneself and the Harmony with the world. All 20 participants are enlightened and rejuvenated for a better choice in life and mission. Above all, the sisters hark back with gratitude for the four days inner journey, interior journey filled with divine interventions through human instruments. The visit of Sr Lucious the Provincial Superior of Silchar Province on the 15th October added joy and jubilation in celebrating her golden Jubilee with an hour of prayer and felicitations followed by a fellowship meal .
