November 10th, 2024 was an auspicious day for the hostellers at Holy Cross Girls’ Hostel , Silchar; a day to welcome and showcase their love and respect to their parents. They accorded a warm welcome to their parents along with the chief guest Sr Prema Misquith, the Provincial Councillor, Sr Leena Serrao, the Provincial Procurator, Sr Teresa Martis, the Provincial Councillor and Headmistress of Holy Cross School, Sr Melissa, the Superior of Holy Family Convent and other sisters and well-wishers as they led them to the Holy Cross School auditorium with joy and cheer. Holy Cross Girls Hostel Parents’ Day – Silchar

November 10th, 2024 was an auspicious day for the hostellers at Holy Cross Girls’ Hostel , Silchar; a day to welcome and showcase their love and respect to their parents. They accorded a warm welcome to their parents along with the chief guest Sr Prema Misquith, the Provincial Councillor, Sr Leena Serrao, the Provincial Procurator, Sr Teresa Martis, the Provincial Councillor and Headmistress of Holy Cross School, Sr Melissa, the Superior of Holy Family Convent and other sisters and well-wishers as they led them to the Holy Cross School auditorium with joy and cheer.

The day was colorful commencing with prayer. Sr Melissa welcomed those gathered and the students performed various items and danced to the tune of various cultural songs. Sr Rosy Pinto, the Hostel Directress presented the Hostel report. The Parents’ Day not only celebrated the achievements of the students but also served as a platform for valuable messages and encouragement. Sr Prema Misquith spoke to the parents highlighting their role in the lives of their children and the hostel administration and gave the students a few important lessons to excel in their lives. Mrs. Phrincina, the parent representative expressed her gratitude to the hostel administration and exhorted students about their responsibility towards parents, hostel and their study. Sr Teresa Martis voiced out her gratitude to all as she enthused the parents, students and all those gathered with her unique message.
